Some weddings are beautiful.
Others feel like a fully realized concept.

This Nashville Symphony wedding designed and coordinated by our Nashville wedding planners was exactly that an immersive, design-forward celebration where every detail was intentional, layered, and deeply personal to the couple.

With a bold palette of chartreuse, burgundy, and vibrant fuchsia, this wedding pushed beyond tradition and into something far more editorial, artistic, and unforgettable.

Where Architecture Meets Atmosphere at the Nashville Symphony

The Nashville Symphony provided the perfect architectural foundation for this celebration. With its grand scale, symphony seating, and clean, modern lines, the space naturally lends itself to elevated design.

Rather than competing with the venue, this wedding enhanced it—bringing in saturated color, warm candlelight, and layered textures that transformed the space into something completely unique.

A Reception That Felt Like a Living Installation

The reception space was designed by our Nashville wedding planners with intention from the ground up.

A mix of rounds and long tables allowed for both dynamic guest interaction and visual movement throughout the room. Luxe linens from BBJ La Tavola Linens in chartreuse, burgundy, and fuchsia created a layered, color-blocked effect that immediately drew the eye.

Tablescapes featured a mix of candlelight, glass vessels, and vibrant florals by Porch Flowers, where fuchsia blooms played a key role in adding dimension, contrast, and a sense of movement to each table.

The grand scale of the Nashville Symphony paired with this thoughtful layout made the entire reception feel less like a room—and more like an experience.

Bridesmaids in Black and a Perfectly Balanced Palette

The bridesmaids’ black dresses were the perfect grounding element for such a vibrant color story.

Sleek, timeless, and effortlessly chic, the black allowed the chartreuse and fuchsia florals to truly stand out—creating a striking visual contrast that felt both modern and elevated. Subtle floral accents worn by the bridesmaids added a playful, fashion-forward touch that tied them seamlessly into the overall design.

The result was a bridal party look that felt cohesive, intentional, and incredibly impactful.

A Custom New Yorker Moment That Told Their Story

One of the most unique elements of the day was the bride’s custom-designed “New Yorker” inspired booklet.

A nod to the couple’s New York roots, this piece was both creative and deeply personal—featuring illustrated covers, playful comics, and written bios of the bride, groom, and their bridal party.

It served as more than just a detail—it was an experience for guests. A way to tell their story, introduce their people, and bring a sense of personality and nostalgia into the day.

These are the kinds of details that take a wedding from beautiful to unforgettable.

An Elevated Dining Experience with a Late Night Twist

Guests were treated to a thoughtfully curated dining experience by Juniper Green, with beautifully presented dishes that complemented the overall aesthetic of the evening.

From rich, seasonal flavors to visually elevated presentation, every element of the catering felt intentional and aligned with the design of the day.

And for a fun, late-night twist—Five Points pizza made an appearance, keeping guests energized and the dance floor full well into the night.

From Classic First Dances to an Unexpected Crowd Moment

As the evening unfolded, the celebration was thoughtfully paced to build energy throughout the night.

Guests were first welcomed into an elevated dinner experience, followed by a live band set that brought a classic, high-energy feel to the reception. During this portion of the evening, the couple shared their first dances—timeless, emotional moments that felt perfectly at home in the grandeur of the Nashville Symphony.

But in true unexpected fashion, the groom turned his mother-son dance into one of the most memorable moments of the night—seamlessly transitioning into “Teach Me How to Dougie” halfway through. What began as a sentimental moment quickly turned into a full crowd surprise, setting the tone for a celebration that didn’t take itself too seriously.

Moody Florals That Brought the Entire Vision to Life

Florals played a defining role in this design, adding both structure and movement to the overall aesthetic.

Porch Flowers created arrangements that felt bold yet organic—layering rich burgundy tones with vibrant fuchsia and pops of chartreuse for a look that was both dynamic and refined. The florals were not just decorative, but architectural in their placement—guiding the eye across tables and throughout the room.

Each arrangement struck a balance between fullness and intentionality, allowing the color story to shine while still feeling elevated and cohesive within the space.

A Burgundy Square Cake With Acrylic Tiers That Felt Like Part of the Design

The cake by Cakes & Co was a seamless extension of the overall design.

Rather than feeling like a standalone element, it was thoughtfully styled to complement the color palette and aesthetic of the day. With clean lines and refined detailing, the cake felt modern, elevated, and perfectly in step with the rest of the celebration.

It served as both a visual moment and a sweet ending to an already unforgettable evening.

An Afterparty Midnight Celebration to Welcome the New Year

Celebrating on New Year’s Eve added an entirely new layer of excitement and intention to the evening.

After dinner, guests transitioned into an after-party in the lobby, where the energy shifted into full celebration mode. As midnight approached, New Year’s hats were passed out to guests, creating a playful and festive atmosphere that felt both elevated and fun.

A projected countdown built anticipation as everyone gathered together, leading into a midnight moment that felt electric—marking not only the start of a new year, but the beginning of the couple’s next chapter.

It was the perfect blend of sophistication and celebration—intentional, high-energy, and completely unforgettable.
